News

After the summer break we are ready to restart training for the final rounds of matches in the league in September and October. We have had quite a good season so far. After a poor start against Good Counsel we put up a battling performance against Naomh Peregrines in May only narrowly losing. We put that to rights with terrific wins over Cuala, Oliver Plunketts and Naomh Olafs to finish off in June. We will play Raheny, Faughs, Naomh Brid and Naomh Mearnog to finish our league campaign. The girls are playing great and we can see a big improvement in skills and effort this season. Keep up the good work!!

6/9/11

Sadly we lost our first match of the Autumn against Raheny on Saturday by 4-1 to 1-0. We are now mid table and we could really finish the league in a good position if we play well in our last three matches. First up are Faughs on Saturday 17th in Marley.

19/9/11

We put up a great fight against Faughs on Saturday. Only for their excellent free taker, we might have had a much closer game. Well played girls!

30/9/11

Big win last weekend against Naomh Brid. Just a point in it after a very exciting game. We have done very well in the league this year so lets finish our last match with a bang!! We play the league leaders Naomh Mearnog on 1st October.

The Executive has requested that each team provide an administrator to deal with matters other than training. This will ease the pressure on mentors having to look after issues such as liaising with committees, dealing with car parking etc. We will need someone to volunteer for this job. Please contact mentors if you are willing to help out.
