We have a busy week of Adult Football action with 3 of our 4 teams playing twice between now and Sunday.
Our Senior footballers kick off their week with a match against Templeogue on Wednesday night at 7:30 in Marley Park. It has been a mixed season so far for our Seniors and they will be hoping to kick start it against the Synge Street men. Templeogue sit 3 points ahead of Ballinteer in the league and will be hoping to build on the victory over O’Tooles last time out. On Saturday, Kilmacud are the opposition for the Seniors at 6:30 in Marley Park again. Crokes sit just 1 point behind Ballinteer in the table and will be looking to bounce back after a loss to Erins Isle last time out.
Our Junior A’s also take on Templeogue on Tuesday night in Dolphin Park at 7:30. Templeogue sit 2 points and 2 places ahead of Ballinteer in the league, so it promises to be a great game. On Sunday morning at 10:15am, Round Towers are the opposition for the Junior As in Clondalkin. Towers are currently sitting 3 points behind Ballinteer and will be hoping to close that gap on Sunday.
Our Junior B team are in action on Tuesday and Sunday also this week, starting with Garda on Tuesday in Marley Park at 7:30. Ballinteer sit 5 points ahead of their opposition at the moment and will be looking to continue their chase for promotion with 2 more points. On Sunday they take on Robert Emmets in Green Trees at 10:15. Emmets have yet to register a point this season so far but will no doubt be looking to got off the mark on Sunday.
Our Junior C team only have one game this week and that is on Sunday at 12pm. They take on St Marks in McGee Park. Marks currently sit in second while Ballinteer sit in fourth, so this promises to be a great game of football.
All support is very welcome for all these games.
