The Senior footballers beats St Pats last night in an exciting encounter in Marley Park. They took the lead from the word go and led the whole way through the first half thanks to a number of free’s from Padhraic O’Connor’s boot. They led by 4 points at half time.

Both our Senior and Junior Hurling teams are in action this week, with the Seniors playing two matches in the space of 4 days.
The action kicks off tonight with the Seniors taking on Faughs in Tymon North.

Ballinteer St Johns has commenced a strategic review of the Club’s overall direction which will result in a revised Club Plan being finalised in time for the next Club AGM.
As part of the review a number of Open Meetings are being organised.
The first of these meetings is scheduled for 12th July at 8pm in the Club function room and is a general meeting open to all Club Members. This meeting is geared towards a full cross section of the club i.e. All Players from 14 years to Adult, Parents, Mentors and committee members are all welcome to come along give us their views and put forward constructive suggestions to help us develop Club plan for the next 3 to 5 year.
Further open meetings will focus on Club Mentors, Teachers and Educationalists in the Club, Club Players and Parents, and Members primarily interested in Social and Cultural aspects of the Club.
We have a young and vibrant club we need to make sure we continue to develop and build on the strong foundations so full club participation is important.
The National U14 Feile competition will be held this week ( 5th/ 6Th/7th July) with 128 Camogie & hurling teams participating from around the country. This will mean that approximately over 3.500 children will be representing their club in this years prestigious national event. This is a great honour for all of the kids and it is the first time in over 30years that Dublin has hosted such an event.
