The sun shone brightly on Saturday – the first day of Centra’s nationwide programme of Hurling skills camps featuring some of the game’s legends in community events for enthusiastic juveniles and their families.

St Johns members, Conor Culhane, Mel and Enda Larkin, were thrilled to win tickets to this event and receive personal coaching from Henry Shefflin and Conal Keaney.

Leinster League Hurling

The "Tangerine & Black" senior hurlers take on Oylegate-Glenbrien (Wexford) in the Leinster Club Hurling League at Marlay Park on Thursday evening next, 19th April – throwin scheduled for 7.00pm.
 
With victories against Crookedwood (Westmeath), Na Fianna (Meath) and Avondale (Wicklow) already secured, BSJ are looking forward to the encounter against our South-Eastern opponents.

Ballinteer St Johns host a double-header "hurling-fest" on Saturday next, April 14th, with the Intermediate & Senior hurlers in action in their respective AHL competitions. The Inters start proceedings against Castleknock with the throw-in scheduled for 4.00pm while the Seniors take on Craobh Chiarain at 6.00pm.

4 wins from 4 fior Adult Footballers

Our adult had a great weekend last weekend with 4 wins from 4 in the league.

Our Senior team took an Erins Isle team that just would not quit. They got off to the best possible start by notching up 3 points in row, with Glenn Whealan scoring 2 and Feargal Duffy pitching in. Then Paric O’Connor popped up and scored 1-01 in a matter of moments to put BSJ 7 points up early on.
